Cinedans closed in a festive manner
On December 12 the eighth edition of the Cinedans Festival was closed in a festive manner at the Rabozaal of the Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam. Presenter Dieuwertje Blok hosted the evening and an enthusiastic audience witnessed the premieres of five special – very different – dance films: The Co(te)lette Film (Mike Figgis & Ann Van den Broek) and The Point Taken titles Hyperscape (Wilko Bello & Marco Gerris), Memory Lane (Paul and Menno de Nooijer & Joost Vrouenraets), Diamond Dancers (Quirine Racké and Helena Muskens & Nicole Beutler) and Val (Joris Hoebe & Boukje Schweigman).

Cinedans at NTR Podium (13 December 23.45 uur, Nederland 2)
On december 13th at 23.45 Cinedans Festival, dance film project Point Taken and the filming of Co(te)lette will feature at NTR Podium. Choreographer Ann Van den Broek, Hollywood-director Mike Figgis and Cinedans Festival Director Janine Dijkmeijer will be speaking. For more details click on (streaming) video above this text.
Over the course of the year Cinedans organises a tour with special dance films at national and international theatres and festivals.
