ScreenDance Miami is a new Tigertail project. It highlights Miami-based choreographers, movers and filmmakers who are working with emerging and new concepts in regard to movement and dance on film and dance on camera. The festival has been created to support South Florida professionals in this field and to support the development of dance created for the camera. ScreenDance Miami is comprised of screenings, panel discussions, workshops and site-specific installations. The festival films were selected by ScreenDance Miami festival director Marissa Alma Nick, following an open submission process. Screenings will also include a program of selected Open Submissions on Friday evening, January 24, and Invited Submissions on Saturday evening, January 25.

SinemaDansAnkara is a dance film festival taking place for the second time in Ankara and is a collaboration between ARES Production, Ankara Goethe Institute and The Netherlands Embassy in Ankara. It is created with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Culture General Directorate of Cinema, Bilkent University, and the international coordination of Mind Your Moves.

Cinedans, one of Europe’s most prestigious dance film festival based in The Netherlands, provides support for the festival’s content.

The festival aims to introduce and promote dance film, by now an internationally acclaimed film genre, and to present distinguished and the latest dance films to the audience in Ankara. By creating a platform, the festival also aims to support the production of dance films in Turkey. Fostering intercultural and artistic collaborations between Turkey, Germany, and The Netherlands, the festival also aims to enhance interdisciplinary and intercultural interactions.

The fifth edition of the Dancing on the Edge Festival takes place from 4 to 13 November 2015. The project is aimed at Dansens Dag in Stockholm on the 29th of April. In the program we want to focus our attention on how we use digital resources and social media in performing arts. We also want to create an international collaboration and networking by inviting performing artists from Sweden and other countries. The program will guarantee good quality by working with experienced people. At the same time, we want to provide the opportunity for artists and audiences to be more active in the whole process before, during and after the festival.
